Student Leadership

Year 6 students all have the opportunity to experience a formal leadership role. In these role student are given responsibilities for leadings school assemblies, planning and coordinating sporting and school events and conducting school tours.

Students from Years 1-6 are elected as Class Student Representative Council (SRC) Leaders. They meet regularly, with a teacher leader and communicate ideas and actions to their class and support whole school projects and initiatives.

About St Catherine's

St Catherine's School opened in 1957 and was administered by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. In 1984 the first lay principal was appointed. In 2017 the school is celebrating 60 years of providing Catholic Education in Moorabbin. The school is situated on spacious grounds in a quiet street off South Road.
