Social Justice

Catholic Social Teaching encourages us to participate in local and global social justice initiatives. At St Catherine’s we work in partnership with Trinity Parish in initiatives led by organisations such as Caritas and St Vincent De Paul. Our senior school Social Justice Leaders and Class Student Representative Council Leaders work in collaboration to raise awareness and develop actions to make a difference the the disadvantaged and marginalised in our society.

About St Catherine's

St Catherine's School opened in 1957 and was administered by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. In 1984 the first lay principal was appointed. In 2017 the school is celebrating 60 years of providing Catholic Education in Moorabbin. The school is situated on spacious grounds in a quiet street off South Road.
